Individual Assessment & Psychotherapy
Diagnostic Assessment (Intake Appointment) $125
This is the first therapy appointment - required for all clients in order to assess your current needs, presenting problem, and strengths. Itβs also a helpful opportunity to make sure Iβm a good fit for you, in terms of my clinical skills and our personalities. If for any reason we are not a good βfitβ, I will do my best to direct you to other professionals and resources for more effective support.
60-Minute Psychotherapy $125
60 minutes is my standard appointment block, recommended for those starting out and actively engaged in therapy.
50 minutes of therapy work and 3-5 minutes for scheduling/admin.
45-Minute Psychotherapy $100
This option is great for those utilizing lunch breaks or needing lower-depth/maintenance work!
38 minutes of therapy work followed by 3-5 minutes for scheduling/admin.
90-Minute Psychotherapy $175
This is a great option for those needing more time to open up, or those looking to dive deeper in our sessions!
90-minute sessions may be especially helpful for those engaging in EMDR therapy (e.g. during reprocessing phases).
80 minutes of therapy work followed by 3-5 minutes for scheduling/admin.
Extended EMDR Therapy Appointments (βMini-Intensivesβ)
This is available for clients who have completed the Diagnostic Assessment and are ready to reprocess single events, with more depth and less of the βdown-timeβ that can occur between hour-long appointments.
Please return to the Frequently Asked Questions section on this home page to learn more about extended EMDR therapy sessions.
3-Hour EMDR Session $375
Group Counseling
No groups are active at this time. Please contact admin@counselingasyouare.com with any group therapy requests or questions. We will update this site with any new group opportunities as they arise!
No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate
(learn more HERE)
The No Surprises Billing Act is a federal law that requires medical providers to provide a clear, plain-language notice explaining when out-of-network care might result in surprise billing and must obtain the patient's consent before billing them for out-of-network services in non-emergency situations.
This Good Faith Estimate provides an overview of expected charges for out-of-network mental health services. These estimates are based on information available at the time the estimate was created and do not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. Upon request, we will provide a superbill detailing services rendered, which you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
See below for more information about out-of-network insurance benefits and As You Are Counselingβs sliding scale fees.
Out-of-network insurance information & Sliding Scale:
For Out-of-Network Insurance Claims:
Please contact your insurance carrier to determine your planβs out-of-network benefits. Check out this GUIDE to help you with the phone call, including specific questions to ask and commonly billed CPT codes.
I am happy to provide a superbill for reimbursement purposes. Please be aware that you will be responsible for submitting all out-of-network claims.
For records requests, please contact admin@counselingasyouare.com.
For Sliding Scale Requests:
Please mention your financial needs when reaching out for consultation or the first appointment. As You Are Counseling is committed to keeping a number of sliding scale appointments each week in order to keep this practice accessible.
I am a therapist member of Open Path Psychotherapy Collective and offer my lowest fees through this platform! If you are interested, please reach out to me directly or through my Open Path profile HERE.

LPC Individual & Group Supervision
$75/individual hour*
I offer supervision to LPCs throughout the state of Ohio virtually, with the option of in-person supervision in Cincinnati, Ohio. Iβd love to help you feel more empowered and skillful when working with trauma/PTSD and perinatal populations. Other topics we can work on may be a professional development plan or training plans for developing a clinical specialization.
My βidealβ supervisee
is curious
is ready to dig deep and name your experiences/feelings/body sensations that show up in therapy sessions (for the goal of reflective supervision, not personal therapy)
is open and willing to giving and receiving feedback respectfully
is prepared for supervision sessions by having specific questions or topics ready for us
is well-versed in our ethical code and ethical decision-making process
and doesnβt shy away from direct conversations about culture and identities
*Please be aware that you will still need an agency/site supervisor to review clinical documentation and for crisis management. If you require βfull-serviceβ supervision, we will need to explore a business agreement and can discuss the rates and requirements for this process!
~
$25/group hour, minimum of three participants required to book (no groups currently running - please reach out if interested!)
My goal in offering group supervision is to facilitate space for you to explore your development as a counselor, name and manage interpersonal dynamics showing up in your work, explore clinical resources, and practice giving and receiving feedback with other professionals. You will own the direction of this group.
βIt is very heartening to know that even when we get it wrong (i.e. being human) we can make it right with authenticity and kindness.β
